2008: Taking time out from work to complete an A-Level (equivalent) in bushcraft. Kickstarting an interest in the American frontiersman, their survival skills and Wildwood Wisdom. Getting bored with nights in the pub where the chat’s about work, TV or sports. Spending a Friday evening a month with friends in the woods, instead, cooking over fire, wild-camping and drinking whisky. Hatching plans to ‘follow trails into the unknown’.
