1986: Coming of age with Birdy over a hot summer. Becoming obsessed with the idea of breeding canaries. A ‘no’ from my parents, switching to the idea of a small business breeding chickens for eggs (another ‘no’). Fast forward to 2020 and getting Amy, Carmella, Jolene and Velma to finally scratch the avian itch.
